Reseach Updates

AoE team members are constantly conducting various applied research projects that tacle priorities identified by the industry in Michigan. Current research projects include:

- Nutrition management for Fraser fir

- Pot-in-Pot production

- Irrigation and water management

- Phytophtora and other disease issues

- Insect control

- Economic and market analysis.

In 2006, the AoE team decided to start publishing a research update bulletin to share progress report and interim findings with growers in the state. The first report published in the fall of 2006 was very well received by growers.

The 2007 & 2008 Research Updates are now available.
